ABOUT US The Bexar County Young Democrats are a widely-diverse group of individuals, bound together by a common interest in the ideals and principles of the Democratic Party. Our mission is to reach out to youth and empower them to be life-long, active members of the Democratic Party. We have a stake in our government and we will make our voices heard. Our members work with all levels of the Democratic Party on grassroots activism, political strategy, fundraising, voter registration, and community service. More importantly, we raise awareness on issues that are important to us and inspire legislative and political progress. That being said, this is not your parents' political organization. We work hard, but we play hard too. We organize and attend a wide array of social functions designed to nullify the myth that political activism is boring. Fun, laughter, and excitement are a part of everything we do. We want to change the world and have a great time doing it! |
